NarrativeStays is an editorial catalog of extraordinary places to stay. Using it means you accept these terms — written to be read, not skimmed past.
NarrativeStays handles no payments, no availability and no reservations, and provides no customer service for any stay. When you book, your contract is with the property or the booking site you book through — never with us. Confirm anything that matters (price, availability, cancellation terms, accessibility, safety) directly with them before you commit.
We hand-verify stays and show a visible last-verified date, and every stay carries an honest "what's the catch" note. These are good-faith editorial judgements based on the information available at the time — properties change owners, prices, and sometimes close. We work hard to be right, but we can't guarantee any listing is complete, current or error-free.
Some outbound links earn us a commission, always labelled beside the button and explained in the affiliate disclosure. Commissions never influence which stays we verify, how they rank, or what the catch-note says — verification is never for sale.
Your taste profile is anonymous — see the privacy policy for exactly what's stored. You can delete it at any time from the About page, immediately and permanently.
The catalog is for personal use. Don't disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or harvest its content in bulk. If you'd like to reuse our data or editorial content, just ask.
The service is provided "as is", free of charge, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NarrativeStays is not liable for losses arising from using the catalog or from any stay or booking made with a third party. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use NarrativeStays after a change means you accept the updated terms.
