Lofoten fishermen's cabins on stilts
Red rorbu cabins on the wave-washed rocks of Hamnøy, built for the Lofoten winter cod fishery and now the most photographed overnight stop in the archipelago. Cabins sleep two to four with the Olstind peak filling the window — midnight sun in summer, aurora over the harbour in winter. The catch: This is Lofoten's single most-photographed viewpoint — the E10 bridge directly above the cabins is lined with tripods at dawn, and peak dates sell out months ahead.
